If you have any ideas for an activity or would like to volunteer at the booth, let the officers know! Global Issue Discussion Sophie gave an amazing presentation on disaster management this week. She told us how to prepare for a natural disaster and how to understand our risks during an event. She also taught us about how these disasters impact the environment, especially man made (oil spills, chemical spills, etc) disasters, and we could do to prevent them from happening in the future. If you want to know more about this, come talk to Sophie at one of the meetings! Sustainability Office Presentation Two representatives from the Sustainability Office on campus talked to us about the Green Office Certification which is a survey for OSU departments to take so they can see how sustainable they currently are and how they can be more sustainable in the future. They provide feed back specific to each department that takes this survey. This is a new project and CEOAS has not taken this survey yet, so the club would love to take initiative on this. The goal is start the survey this quarter and to finish it by the end of the school year.
