Tonight Bryan presented about coral bleaching at Great Barrier Reef. Corvallis, Walk for Water May 20th 8:30 am-1:30 pm. If you signed to volunteer for the Walk for Water event, you should have gotten a forwarded email from Alec. The event coordinator will send out more specific info as the date gets closer. A graduate student from the Integrative Biology Department reached out and was looking for an undergraduate student to help them with their research about a. The volunteer position requires some GIS experience, but they’re also looking for others to help out in the lab and there’s even an opportunity to join a study crew in the cascades this summer! Contact: [email protected] National get outdoors day! June 3rd The OSU Research Forest contacted the club asking if we were interested in volunteering in the National Get Outdoors Day! The event needs a variety of volunteers to work with kids and families in order to get them more comfortable being outdoors! Types of volunteer include, photographer, booth exhibitor, parking and traffic, outdoor community art project. The event is on Saturday June 3rd from 10am – 3 pm.
